What a Contribution Is
A contribution is an accountable statement made under editorial control. It may be doctrine, method analysis, or a field note that can tolerate time. It is not a channel for promotion, affiliation, or trend response.
Contributors do not set standards. They work within them.
Minimum Requirements
- Direct familiarity with the subject, stated plainly.
- Documented limits: uncertainty, constraints, and failure conditions are included rather than hidden.
- No urgency framing. No rankings. No commerce-forward language.
- No material incentives tied to the published outcome.
- Ethics are treated as primary. Legality is treated as a minimum.
Disclosure
Any material connection must be disclosed before acceptance. This includes employment, consulting, discounts, loans, gifts, travel, or compensation related to the subject.
Undisclosed conflicts are grounds for removal of the contribution and revocation of contributor status.
Editing and Accountability
NaturalSportsmen.com edits for standards, clarity, and durability. We may decline, shorten, or reframe submissions that compress ethical margin or read as commerce.
Material errors are corrected. Disagreement does not prevent correction.
